Join us for the launch of New Writing Scotland 44 latest collection, Naming the Snakes

Join Chris Powici and Allan Radliffe on Tuesday 15th September at 7pm as we celebrate the publication of Naming the Snakes: New Writing Scotland 44, the latest collection of excellent contemporary literature, drawn from a wide cross-section of Scottish culture and society, including new work from forty-three authors – some internationally renowned, and some just beginning their careers.

We are delighted to be joined by Rachel Coventry, Tony Frame, Kate Hendry, Donnchadh MacCàba, Fiona Mossman and Shane Strachan, who will be sharing poetry and short stories in English, Gaelic and Scots.

New Writing Scotland is the principal forum for poetry and short fiction in Scotland today. Every year it publishes the very best from both emerging and established writers, and lists many of the leading literary lights of Scotland among its past (and present) contributors.

Tickets are £3 and there is a Ticket & Book option which includes a copy of Naming the Snakes: New Writing Scotland 44.
