Open Mondays are scheduled at the Salisbury Centre in Edinburgh, offering quiet and welcoming times starting on 14 September 2026. Visitors can use the Library, spend time in the Garden, or read and reflect during these sessions. Entry is free.

Open Mondays are quiet, welcoming times when the Salisbury Centre is simply open — for people to arrive without an event, a ticket, or an agenda. To use the Library, spend time in the Garden, read, reflect, or just be.

Each Monday, 10:30 – 14:30, the Salisbury Centre doors are open for you to come and enjoy. You are welcome to arrive and leave at any time between 10:30 and 14:30 — you do not have to stay for all four hours.

Please note, this is not a structured event, but simply an opportunity to do your own thing in the space of the Salisbury Centre. There will be a volunteer on the day who will welcome and show you around, as well as point out places where you can find out more information about our events and offerings.
