Industry Roundtable led by Postcode Lottery: How is AI impacting Gender Equality in Tech: Progress or a New Divide?

AI is reshaping the technology industry at incredible speed. Everything from how we build and develop new tools, to how we recruit new talent. But what will this transformation mean for gender equality?

We’re bringing together a group of tech leaders for a candid roundtable exploring whether AI represents an opportunity to accelerate progress on gender equality or risks reinforcing the inequalities the industry has spent decades trying to address.

This will be a discussion rather than a presentation, an opportunity to exchange perspectives, challenge assumptions and learn from how other individuals are approaching these questions inside their organisations.

To encourage an open and candid conversation, the roundtable will be held under the Chatham House Rule. Notes will be taken to capture key themes and insights from the discussion, but comments will not be attributed to individual participants or their organisations.

The question at the heart of the conversation: as we build the AI-enabled technology industry of the future, how do we make sure we don't carry the inequalities of the past with us?
