Explore environment and the layers of landscapes through word, sketching and sound in a series of Art Walks.
This walk is an Accessible Event i.e. it is open to all for free or a donation if desired. Booking is still essential as numbers are limited.
On this walk we will exercise our native skill of environmental listening. As we walk we’ll ask ourselves what the soundscape might tell us about landscape and change. This walk takes us up into the woodlands and paths along the high ground to the south east of Jedburgh. Our destination is an ancient site, rarely visited but rich in historic resonance. We will take time to enhance our appreciation of the environments through which we walk, stopping at points along the way to carry out simple listening and awareness activities.
Please note no dogs allowed with the exception of registered service dogs which we would greatly appreciate advance notice of.
