Time to crack out the overshoes and thermal bibs, the Sonder Winter Gravel Series is coming to Edinburgh!

Welcome to the Sonder Winter Gravel Series - Edinburgh.

This year we're heading back out into the wilds of East Lothian, so think quiet gravel tracks, forest fire roads and surprisingly punchy climbs!

Arrive bright and early to Alpkit Edinburgh for coffee, fruit and pastries before heading out.

Please remember to have your waterproofs at the ready (after last years total wash out!), pack plenty of snacks and bring all the spares you might need.

The route is mixed surface, with back roads, champagne gravel, and chunky byways. Minimum of a gravel bike is recommended.

It's expected to take between 3-5 hours depending on your speed, but is fully self-supported so take it as fast or as slow as you like. Please dress for the occasion and bring supplies and tools for any situation (or that one mechanic mate!)

After you're finished, please feel free to pop back after for a post-ride soup and blether!

Alternate wet weather/short route available, we'll send them both out to all participants so you can make the choice on the day.

All proceeds will go to Alpkit Foundation (https://alpkit.com/pages/foundation?srsltid=AfmBOoor7ACN2TkwV32ubRwy23gEA3QPEsvoRNOLk41F8R5m2F6b8ynx)
