About This Event

The The Four Times (2010) event will screen a masterpiece of Italian cinema at Grassmarket Community Project in Edinburgh on 24th August 2026, with free admission and ticket prices ranging from £0 to £6.13.

GCP Collaborates with the Edinburgh Film Guild for a series of four masterpieces of Italian cinema.

In The Four Times (Le quattro volte) An old goat shepherd lives in a quiet village in the hills of Calabria that most villagers have left long ago. He is sick, and believes to find his cure in the dust he collects on the church floor, which he drinks in his water every day. But soon, his soul will move on through four successive lives.

This screening is presented in part of a series of 4 masterpieces of Italian cinema, in collaboration with the Edinburgh FIlm Guild. See information of the other three screenings here.

Pleaste note this screening is taking place on a Monday afternoon at 2.30 and is not part of our Wednesday night screenings!
