The Jesus & Mary Chain and The Psychedelic Furs have teamed up for a co-headlining UK tour. The Jesus & Mary Chain: Formed in East Kilbride in 1983 by brothers Jim and William Reid, the band defined the alternative noise-pop sound with their seminal 1985 debut Psychocandy. Known for blending feedback and pop melodies, they reunited in 2007 after a late-90s hiatus and released their eighth studio album, Glasgow Eyes, in 2024. The Psychedelic Furs: Formed in London in 1977 and led by frontman Richard Butler, the band became key figures in post-punk and new wave. Hits like Pretty in Pink and Love My Way cemented their international popularity. After reforming in 2000, they released Made of Rain in 2020, marking their first new studio record in nearly three decades.
