Tree-Song – Concert 4

Graeme Stephen | Fiona Winning | Matthew Kilner

The fourth concert in guitarist and composer Graeme Stephen's Tree-Song project features renowned violist Fiona Winning.

Fiona regularly performs as guest principal viola with some of the UK's leading orchestras and ensembles, including the London Sinfonietta and London Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert will feature a new work for solo viola, written especially for Fiona, alongside new music for guitar and viola duo.

Joining Graeme and Fiona for this concert will be saxophonist Matthew Kilner, performing new music written for the trio.

Tree-Song is an 18-month composition project in which Graeme writes new music for a different featured musician every three months. Each concert brings together newly composed solo, duo and ensemble works, premiered in Edinburgh before being recorded for future release.
