Join us for a walk around the varied habitats at Abbotsford Estate.

The estate borders the banks of River Tweed and comprises of meadows and native woodland. There is a diverse mix of habitat supporting a richness of species, from orchids to butterflies.

Meet at the car park at Abbotsford house, Melrose, TD6 9BQ. Please note there is a cost to use the car park. Family friendly but children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

Suggested donation: £2 for non-members (you can donate when you book or in person on the day). All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.

We will require a name and mobile number for each person attending at the time of booking. Please provide details of any medical condition you would like the event organiser to know about, at the time of booking, to enable an appropriate response in an emergency.

Bookable face-to-face events may be subject to change at short notice, which will be communicated to attendees via email by the organiser. Please check your email in advance of attending events. Note that booking generally ends two hours prior to the event start time. If you wish to book to attend after registration has ended, and there are places still available, please contact the organiser direct using the details above.
