An evening of painting watercolours, accompanied by a glass of wine and guided by Kelly Stewart.

Fancy a night of painting with watercolours while enjoying a glass of wine, in a relaxing and calm space?

This 2 hour event is led by local artist Kelly Stewart, who will start by giving you a demonstration on how to use watercolours so you can create your own painting. This event will run alongside an exhibition of paintings and screenprints by Kelly Stewart, titled "City and Country",at Leith Makers so the workshop will have an emphasis on landscapes and cityscapes

You'll be surrounded by a friendly, welcoming environment, while enjoying a glass of wine. Sparkling water will also be offered.

All materials, including paper, brushes, palettes and watercolour paint will be provided, as well as the wine.

Kelly Stewart is an Edinburgh based artist. She has organised this event to encourage people from all skill sets, including those who haven't made any art since school days, to take a couple of hours for themselves to try something new. No pressure or stress. The emphasis is on having a good time rather than come away with a masterpiece.
