The West End Gardens Group have secured some great speakers to give three short talks. Find out more below... The West End Garden Group was founded in July 2024 to bring together the groups that manage some of the green spaces in the West End. We have thought for some time that it would be nice to hold a community talk and so we have secured three speakers to talk on garden related topics. The speakers are: Lezley Cameron, Depute Lord Provost of Edinburgh will open the event. Terry Levinthal, Edinburgh World Heritage “Rus in Urbe – the role of gardens in the Edinburgh’s neo-classical New Town and World Heritage Site”. Stuart McKenzie, Edinburgh Allotments, “Allotments – Where Plotters Meet” Richard Milne, Edinburgh University, “Bastard Plants” We also hope that it will be something of a community social event, so the Hoxton will have a cash bar available. We are not charging for this event.
