Starting at St Andrew's Square, Ruth will take you along George Street to Charlotte Square, explaining not just the history of Edinburgh but also highlighting women from the past, from the well-known to what life was like for those who left no record in history.
The tour will take two and half hours in total, and will be outside with no shelter so please wrap up according to the weather conditions! There will be no toilet stops or seats along the way.

Where and when do we meet?
Please meet near the Paddington Bear bench at St Andrew Square, looking on to George Street, 10 minutes before the tour is due to start.
Where will we finish?
We will finish near or at Charlotte Square.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
