🎃 Halloween Clothes Swap & Sew Your Own Pumpkin!

Join us for an afternoon of sustainable fashion, creativity, and community fun!

Whether you're looking for a sustainable Halloween costume, some fabulous going-out clothes, or simply want to refresh your wardrobe, our Halloween Clothes Swap is the perfect opportunity to find something new-to-you while keeping clothing in circulation.

We'll have a dedicated rail of clothes and accessories that are perfect for creating Halloween costumes, alongside plenty of everyday fashion to browse and swap.

🧡 No need to stay for the whole event. Drop by anytime between 1pm and 4pm.

Location: The Café at the back of Killaloe Family Resource Centre

Cost: Free entry, € donations welcome

How the Swap Works

Donate up to:

5 items of adult clothing (in season please - Autumn/Winter)

5 items of baby clothing (0-24 months)

5 pieces of jewellery/pins to swap.

Our volunteers will assess your items and award swap tokens.

How the token system works

👕 Adult clothing items are worth 1, 2 or 3 tokens, depending on quality and condition.

👶 All baby clothes (0-24 months) are worth 1 token per item.

Use your tokens to browse the rails, try things on, and choose your new-to-you pieces. Any unused tokens can be saved and used at future Clothes Swap Co-op events.

Sew Your Own Pumpkin Workshop

Fancy learning a new life skill?

Join our beginner-friendly pumpkin sewing workshop and learn the basics of hand sewing while creating your own cute fabric pumpkin to take home.

No sewing experience needed. All materials provided.

Who Can Attend?

Everyone is welcome!

Come with a friend, bring a family member, or pop in on your own. Clothes swaps are a great way to meet like-minded people and have fun while reducing textile waste.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Donations Welcome

While entry is completely free, we invite swappers to make a €5 donation to the Clothes Swap Co-op. Donations help us cover costs and keep our community clothes swaps running. See how we manage our funds on https://opencollective.com/the-clothes-swap-co-op

Booking is not required, but registering helps us estimate numbers and allows us to send you a reminder before the event.
