Begin Well is an antenatal course designed to give you the best starting blocks for family life.

Begin Well is a Christian charity providing affordable, accessible, evidence-based antenatal courses across the South West. Our aim is to give you the very best starting blocks for family life.

Over this 6-week course, you'll learn about birth, caring for your baby, becoming parents, and changes in family life. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and meet other parents-to-be in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Suitable for parents who are 28+ weeks pregnant. Please only book if your due date is after the course ends.

Course Details

Tuesdays, 7:00–9:00pm

Dates: 20th Oct, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th Nov

Please attend all six sessions, as each covers different topics.

Please note: One booking covers both you and your birth partner.

The course is free of charge.

Important: Please complete the pre-course form sent by email after booking (please check your junk/spam folder). This helps us prepare and support you throughout the course. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as early as possible so your place can be offered to another family.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the first session, or non-attendance without notice, may incur an administration fee.
