Coaching for Leaders is a family-friendly event taking place at Countess Wear Community School in Exeter on November 25th. The venue will host various performers offering workshops designed to help current coaches and leaders improve their skills, whether they're working with children or adults. This event is perfect for both parents and their children interested in learning about coaching techniques together.

Overview
This practical workshop is designed to strengthen the confidence and capability of leaders and coaches in their coaching practice. Through guided reflection, real-world scenarios and live practice, you’ll deepen your understanding of effective coaching approaches and receive constructive feedback to refine your style.
We will explore a range of current coaching tools and models, and consider how coaching can support team development, build shared purpose, and help navigate challenging conversations. The session also draws on recent organisational research and coaching thought leadership to explore how coaching enhances individual and team performance - including working with diverse strengths and more challenging situations.

Programme Lead
Leonie Hurrell is an Educational enthusiast. At 24 Leonie became the youngest Deputy Headteacher in Dorset and went on to be a Headteacher for 8 years, before becoming an ILM Certified Leadership Coach. Leonie is passionate about learning and people development. Founder of The Thinking Academy, a company that provides coaching and ILM approved training solutions for schools.
Eligibility
This programme is suited for Headteachers and Senior Leaders in Schools with some experience of coaching or who have attended the Advanced Coaching Programme.
Cost
£100 per person for SWIFT member schools | £150 for non-members.
Please note: The course is limited to 18 delegates so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note: Payment is by INVOICE ONLY. Please select invoice as the payment method at check out.
You will receive a confirmation of booking from Eventbrite. All further correspondence will come from Robin.Scott@sw-ift.org.uk; please ensure you check your junk mail box and approve the email to ensure you receive important event details.
If you are unable to attend on the day, or are sending someone else in your place, please let us know. Please be aware that failure to cancel your space can incur your school a cost. Full Terms and Conditions are available HERE.

Non-chargeable Courses (Sessions that are part of the ‘no additional charge’ elements of the SWIFT membership)
If the place you are cancelling is for a ‘no additional charge’ event under the SWIFT Offer to Schools, you may withdraw, without penalty, provided a minimum notice of 24 hours before the start time of the event is given.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, for each date of a course for which there is no additional charge, then the following charges will apply per applicant: £25.00
Should a training course recruit insufficient numbers to make it viable, we reserve the right to cancel the course, without penalty, giving a minimum notice of 24 hours.
