Collage Club is a hands-on workshop held on Tuesdays at Positive Light Projects in Exeter. Participants use scissors and glue with themed vintage materials to create artwork. The session runs from 17:30 and is priced at no charge.
Scissors, glue, themed vintage and quirky books and magazines... what more is there to do on a Tuesday night?
Collage Club is a hands-on, adult, artist-led craft and social space. Learn new techniques, styles and approaches in a stimulating, safe and social workshop environment, with cups of tea.
We provide scissors, accessible cutting tools, glue & mount board. You will want to bring your own craft knife/ scalpel/ cutting mat if you wish, for precision work.
Each workshop is themed, with specific materials provided (Inky Fingers has a zero-to-waste agenda and processes 100s of old books each year) and a rolling stock of high quality images to draw from. They range from Victorian adventure illustrations to 1980s food photography, mid century natural history, art and reportage. There's also a large random box of cuttings from previous workshops and a pile of magazines and National Geographics from various decades!
You’re also welcome to bring additional materials of your own to add into the mix.
