Join Mindfully Wild CIC for a friendly 3.5-mile guided loop walk from St Thomas in Exeter to Ide as part of the Wellbeing Exeter Walking Festival.
Mindfully Wild CIC is a new community organisation that brings people together to improve wellbeing, connect with nature, and restore local habitats through practical conservation, wildlife monitoring, and community activities. This walk is a great opportunity to learn more about our Restoring the Alphin Brook project.
As part of the walk, we'll stop at The Twisted Oak pub for around 20–30 minutes to take a water quality sample as part of the Great UK Waterblitz. You'll learn how we monitor the health of the river and find out how you can get involved in future river monitoring sessions, practical conservation activities, and restoration work.
Bring a drink and a snack for the stop, or, if The Twisted Oak is open, you're welcome to purchase refreshments while we carry out the water sampling.
