Welcome to Dartmoor! Our first proper hike of the year takes us on a circular from Okehampton station onto the moors, even climbing to a Tor! A great introduction to the National Park.

We strongly advise suitable footwear, ideally hiking boots. Ankle protection is recommended!

Timings:

Meet us outside Exeter St Davids at 9:30am to catch the 9:39 to Okehampton.

Transport:

Please buy an open return ticket to Okehampton.

Guidance:

Please bring suitable footwear as above. OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear.

Weather on Dartmoor can be unpredictable, so please bring waterproofs just in case!

Bring lots of snacks and a packed lunch, as well as plenty of water!
