As part of the 2026 Heritage Open Days Festival, English Heritage are offering a free after hours exclusive guided tour of Berry Pomeroy Castle. Join us at the castle kiosk on 16 September at 5.30 pm. Spaces are limited so booking is essential. Tours last approx 1.5 hours.
Remote Berry Pomeroy Castle overlooks a beautiful steep-sided valley. There’s a lot to explore here. First, you’ll see the imposing gatehouse and towered walls of the late medieval fortress of the Pomeroys.
