Terracotta Moon Gazing Hare Workshop

Join local artist Helen McCormick for a relaxed, creative day at Nancy Potter House in Topsham. Learn to sculpt a characterful moon gazing Hare using traditional hand-building techniques and beautiful terracotta clay.

About the Workshop

Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your pottery skills, this workshop offers a friendly and supportive space to create. During the session, I will guide you step-by-step through the process of hand-building your own Hare sculpture. We will be working with terracotta clay, a wonderful, earthy material that is perfect for capturing the spirit of the hare. These sculptures are left unglazed, as the terracotta will age beautifully in your garden over time. The focus of the day is on learning, meeting new people, and most importantly, having fun!

Tea and coffee provided throughout the day.
