Join us for a community screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, followed by discussion on what this means for life on the Island.

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK. It brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence on how the cost of living, food security, extreme weather and health affects us all.

After the 45-minute film, there's time to share how you feel and join a conversation about what we can do locally on the Isle of Wight to manage risk and resilience.

Many of those who have attended a screening say that although the facts are alarming, they felt a sense of optimism about confronting the challenge together and seeing a pathway to a better future. For more information see nebriefing.org

Tickets are free, but booking is strongly advised.

The film is recommended for ages 16 and over.
