Heart of the Matter – Heart Health Networking Event

Delivered by Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS). Hosted by West Highland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with UHI North, West and Hebrides – Fort William campus.

Join us for Heart of the Matter, a heart health awareness and business networking event bringing together employers, businesses and organisations from across Lochaber.

Held during Heart Month, this practical and informative session will give local businesses the opportunity to learn more about heart health, understand how to reduce the risk of heart disease, and discover how they can support colleagues, employees and others affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions.

Meet representatives from the Chamber and UHI North, West and Hebrides – Fort William campus.

Take part in an optional Boditrax body composition assessment during the networking session.

What to expect

❤️ Heart health presentation – 40 minutes

Delivered by Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland, the session will provide an accessible introduction to heart health, risk reduction and practical steps for everyday life.

💬 Q&A – 20 minutes

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and explore topics relevant to you, your employees and your workplace.

🤝 Networking & Boditrax assessment

Following the presentation and Q&A, there will be time to meet other attendees, make new local connections and continue the conversation.

The Boditrax machine will also be available for participants who would like to have their body composition measured. Participation in the assessment is optional.
