Award-winning author Susan Fletcher will be joining us to discuss her Highland Bookshop bestsellers; immersive, beautifully written stories, including two favourites set in Glencoe and the Scottish Islands.
Witch Light
"One of the best works of historical fiction I've ever read. Set during the Glencoe Massacre, with the only witness accused of being a witch. Deeply evocative of the landscape and writing like no other I've ever read."
Silver Dark Sea
"Set on an unnamed Scottish island the locals find a man with no memory washed up. Heart-warming and beautifully written, this is an incredibly atmospheric story. One of my favourite books set on the islands. Cannot recommend enough!"
The Night in Question
"Our octogenarian heroine’s determination to investigate a violent crime on her doorstep, leads her to reflect on her colourful past of love and loss, in this wonderfully warm and involving page-turner."
