Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled departure date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure are non-refundable, except where required by law.

If Salmon Tourism must cancel the tour due to severe weather, ferry cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Alcohol Policy

To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests:

Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the coach and ferry journey.

Guests must not consume alcohol during the organised transport portions of the tour.

Any guest whose behaviour is affected by alcohol or who fails to follow this policy may be removed from the tour at the earliest safe opportunity without refund.

Any alcoholic beverages or additional drinks purchased with lunch are the responsibility of the individual guest and must be paid for directly.

Respect for the Island and Local Community

We ask all guests to help preserve the beauty and character of Inishturk by:

Treating local residents, businesses and fellow travellers with courtesy and respect.

Respecting the island's natural environment and leaving no litter behind.

Closing all gates when walking along farmland and designated walking trails.

Following local signage and respecting private property.

Safety

Guest safety is our priority.

All participants must follow the instructions and safety advice provided by Salmon Tourism staff, ferry operators and local guides.

Guests are expected to exercise good judgement and take reasonable care for their own safety throughout the day.

Appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn, particularly when walking on uneven ground or coastal paths.

Participant Waiver

Before departure, all participants will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging that outdoor activities and travel involve inherent risks.

By signing the waiver, participants acknowledge that they are taking part in the day trip voluntarily, agree to follow all safety instructions and act responsibly throughout the tour.

While Salmon Tourism will take reasonable care in organising and operating the tour, participants accept responsibility for their own actions. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
