About This Event

'Country Girl The Musical', written by bestselling author Emma Heatherington, will debut at Leisureland in Galway on 5 March 2027. This production is noted as Ireland’s first contemporary country musical.

From the pen of Irish Times and UK No.1 bestselling author Emma Heatherington comes Country Girl , Ireland’s first contemporary country musical. When singing star Luke Adams walks into Rosie Ryan’s small-town pub one fateful night, their worlds collide in a story filled with love, heartbreak and the search for home. Featuring brand-new country songs written by Emma Heatherington with Johnny Brady, Catriona O’Sullivan, Matt McGlinn, Dominique Mullin, Jim McKee, David McCrory, Pauric Mohan (All Folk’d Up) and Caoimhe Loughran, Country Girl blends Nashville soul with Irish heart in a romance set to a country beat. Perfect for fans of Ella Langley, Dolly Parton and for anyone who loves a love story!
