For adults seeking diagnosis and those who have one already - with multiple session options per month.
This is an in-person meet-up for adults with ADHD, run by the local ADHD community. You do not need a formal diagnosis.
Ours is an inclusive space where we each have a bit of time to discuss our concerns, where we are currently in life, and then reflect and support each other. You’ll meet like-minded people discussing their ADHD, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
"Being able to share with people who experience reality in a similar way to me is invaluable." (real quotes from attendees)"Even if you aren't diagnosed and don't ever get diagnosed, just hearing other people are going through the same things and have the same difficulties is extremely cathartic.""Don't be scared to come to the first meeting... You'll be so relieved when you do and wish you'd done it sooner."Our sessions start on time at 18:00, so we actually recommend trying to arrive a little bit earlier, to navigate around the venue. Time blindness is also a thing apparently! We finish up at 20:00.
Getting to our meeting room
Finding our room in the Renfield Centre can be a bit confusing for first timers, so please check out this page for step-free turn-by-turn directions, including pictures.
Local resources
We have crowd-sourced a short page of Glasgow-specific starter resources for those who think that they may have ADHD, including employment and benefit support organisations as well as local socialising opportunities.
Sold out?
Booking is essential as we deliberately limit the number of spaces to ensure those that want have time to talk. The aim is that the next available session should never be more than two weeks away - it's why we run so many sessions.
If a particular date is sold out, you can also check back nearer the time as we encourage people to cancel if they can no longer make it; you can also swap your own ticket for free within Eventbrite for a different date at any time (subject to availability).
Worth noting: We are non-profit and self-organised, without any ties to private services, so we like to regard ourselves as impartial - certainly we do the best we can!
