After scratching a seven-year itch with a breathtaking show at St. Luke’s in February 2026, it was clear there had to be a 2027 follow-up. So, almost a year to the day, The Disco Love Orchestra will cram back onto the St. Luke’s stage with what is poised to be an even more unforgettable performance.

The brainchild of Glasgow disco obsessive and worldwide ambassador for the genre, Al Kent—the idea hatched in his spare room has grown dramatically to feature a full band backed by a 19-piece orchestra, with the vocal talents of the wonderful Unoma Okudo as the icing on the cake.

With a set consisting of masterfully orchestrated and flawlessly performed vintage disco, a DJ set from national treasure Bob Jeffries, and an after-party till 1 a.m. with Al Kent himself providing the music, all we can say is... If you like DISCO, you’ll LOVE this!

Why do we have a restoration Levy?

Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building. As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke's requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities. This levy will enable us to fund essential projects that will safeguard the venue's future as a vibrant hub for live music and community events.
