Arts Workshop for Kids – Help Reunite a Family from Gaza Join us for a fun and creative morning at **MILK in Glasgow on Saturday 7 November 2026, from 10am to 1pm**, raising funds to help reunite a Palestinian family separated by the war in Gaza. This welcoming arts workshop is suitable for **children of all ages – grown-ups too!** Come along, explore different art materials, get creative, and make something special to take home. What to Expect Enjoy a variety of hands-on creative activities, including: • Bracelet Making: Create colourful bracelets, including Palestinian-themed designs. • Rock Painting: Decorate stones with colours, patterns, and your own imaginative ideas. • Creative Exploration: Try different art materials in a relaxed and friendly environment. The workshop will be led by Fatima, a Wellbeing Worker for an arts charity who has experience facilitating art groups for babies and children. A Creative Morning for a Meaningful Cause This event is raising funds for Hussein Naim, a Palestinian architect and artist currently living in Gaza. Hussein has been separated from his wife, Lawan, and their three children since the beginning of the war. His family is currently living in Egypt, while he remains in Gaza. Despite the difficult circumstances, Hussein has continued using art to work with children and young people through The Coloured History of Palestine, a collaborative mosaic project preserving Palestinian stories and memories. Friends in Glasgow are organizing this workshop to help Hussein finally reunite with his wife and children after nearly three years apart. All funds raised will support Hussein's family reunification campaign.
