Blind Tasting Mayhem! A Halloween wine tasting with a difference… Six wines. All served blind. And you've got to work out what you're drinking! We'll start with a quick introduction to the basics of blind tasting and what to look (and smell!) for. Then it's over to you. But this time, there's a Trick or Treat twist… Along the way, you'll encounter The Witch's Brew — something unusual or completely unexpected; The Ghost — a wine that's particularly difficult to pin down; The Vampire — a powerful, full-bodied red; and The Poisoned Chalice — a wine that looks or smells one way but tastes completely different. There'll also be The Pumpkin — something bright, fruity and fun — before we finish with The Final Treat: a premium surprise bottle hiding amongst the rest. Can you guess the grape? The country? Old World or New World? And can you spot which wine is hiding the premium price tag? Work together with your table, compare notes, debate your answers and see if you can outsmart the other teams. There'll be points to win, prizes for the winners and plenty of opportunities to question your own palate! And just to be clear… none of this is to be taken too seriously. There are no wrong answers, no wine snobbery and absolutely no shame in confidently declaring a Pinot Noir to be a Cabernet Sauvignon. We're here to have fun, drink some good wine and cause a little Halloween Blind Tasting Mayhem!
