Formed in Brooklyn, New York, by co-frontpersons Ben Hozie and Nikki Belfiglio, BODEGA emerged as one of indie rock’s most compelling, sharp-witted conceptual bands. After establishing a reputation for razor-sharp social commentary with their acclaimed records Endless Scroll (2018), Broken Equipment (2022), and Our Brand Could Be Your Life (2024), the group built a dedicated global following through relentless touring and vibrant live shows. Their fourth studio album, All Inside Aquarium (2026), released via Chrysalis Records, marks a major sonic shift for the band. Moving away from their post-punk roots towards melodic rock, heavy riffs, and 90s-influenced alternative hooks, the record was tracked live in a converted church studio in Leeds. Known for incorporating unique visual art, spoken-word interludes, and driving dual percussion, BODEGA continue to redefine contemporary rock music on their own terms.
