The CinemARC event Everybody to Kenmure Street is planned to take place at the Advanced Research Centre (ARC), University of Glasgow in Glasgow on 17 September 2026. The event is a film activity, with free admission.

The first event as part of our Autumn CinemARC programme.

As part of Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival 2026, come along to this special CinemARC screening of Everybody to Kenmure Street.

Pinar Aksu, from UofG School of Education who is featured in the documentary, brings this screening in partnership with Byres Community Hub.

In May 2021, a UK Home Office dawn raid triggers one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. In Pollokshields, Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood, hundreds of residents rush to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours.
