This special fundraising talk, linked to the festival theme Glasgow Goes Out: The Places That Made Us, is one of three events supporting the sustainability of Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival. Tickets cost £10, with all proceeds going to Glasgow Building Preservation Trust (GBPT), the charity that has organised the festival for 37 years.

Judith Bowers is a former archaeologist, tour guide and passionate heritage campaigner who saved and helped reopen the Britannia Panopticon, the world’s oldest surviving music hall and the venue where Stan Laurel made his debut. She has delivered talks and tours across Scotland and beyond, bringing Glasgow’s rich history vividly to life.
