About This Event

Taking place at Glasgow’s only surviving medieval castle, the event is designed as a celebration of the whole community, bringing people together to celebrate the area’s past, present and future. The free event will feature medieval and Second World War re-enactments, vintage vehicles and bus rides, community stalls, arts and crafts, face painting, costumed characters, storytelling and family activities. Young visitors will also have the chance to enrol in Knight School, taking on a series of medieval-inspired challenges and activities as they learn what it takes to become the next generation of Crookston Castle knights. The event will also showcase local community groups and organisations, giving visitors the chance to discover more about the activities, services and opportunities available across the area.
