About This Event

Our campus comes alive on Sunday 30th August, 11am – 3pm, as it transforms into a vibrant marketplace, buzzing with music, and an exciting mix of pop-up shops - with a spotlight on fashion – together with an exhibition showcasing learning and research from across the University. From 12- 2pm, Capital Scotland presenters Robyn Richford and Fat Brestovci will be at the centre of the action as our event hosts, bringing chart-topping hits, and exclusive competitions to keep everyone entertained throughout the day. Explore pop-ups, including Smart Works Scotland, who will be offering free 1-2-1 coaching sessions for women, designed to boost confidence and provide personalised style advice, alongside a curated clothing sale. Check out Street Soccer Scotland’s Kitback pop-up for the chance to buy unique vintage football tops. Pop by ACS Clothing’s stand for interactive demonstrations on garment repair and the chance to create items out of recycled textiles, and gather practical tips on how to reduce waste and extend the life of your wardrobe! There’s even more to discover - take in the Sir Alex Ferguson Display and get involved in our Sir Alex Ferguson Signed Football Shirts Auction, with all funds supporting GCU’s anniversary campaign.
