About This Event

If you love to be hands on and want to bring home an elegant footstool you have made yourself - this course is for you! During this 3 evening course, you will learn some useful upholstery skills, under the friendly guidance of two experienced upholsterers Robin (from Robin Upholstery) and Janneke (Flamingo Upholstery). You will build up the frame with webbing, hessian, ultraflex and wadding. You will sew piping on a border and fix it all in place with a staple gun. Classes are small, so there will be plenty of support. The course costs £310, which includes the locally made frame, legs and all the materials to build it up. All you need to bring is 2 metres of your favourite fabric. This course will take place on Tuesday 22 September, 29 September and 06 October, 6pm - 9pm. Venue is Kodac Studios, Studio 16, 719A South Street, Glasgow. It is on the first floor without a lift.
