Foraging Through the Seasons
Join us for a seasonal exploration of the wild food, herbs and plants growing all around us in the heart of the city.
Led by local forager Mim Black, this relaxed workshop begins with a guided walk around the local area, where you'll learn to notice, identify and responsibly harvest a variety of seasonal plants.
Together we'll explore the stories, traditions and practical uses of the species we encounter, while deepening our connection to the landscapes on our doorstep.
Back at Gathering Ground, we'll use some of our foraged finds to prepare simple seasonal food and drinks, discovering ways to bring wild flavours and ingredients into everyday cuisine.
