Designed to inspire the next generation of digital talent, this event combines industry insight, hands-on activities and networking with women working across technology careers. Participants will hear from a panel of professionals, take part in a collaborative AI challenge and experience immersive escape room activities designed to develop digital resilience, critical thinking and cyber awareness. The event will provide an engaging introduction to emerging technologies while highlighting the diverse education and career pathways available within Scotland’s digital and technology sectors. Programme Women in Tech Panel & Q&A Hear from women working across technology, digital and cyber-related roles. Learn about their career journeys, challenges, achievements and advice for those considering a future in tech. AI Escape Challenge Step into the world of modern AI through a fast-paced team challenge. Participants will work together to separate AI fact from fiction, identify algorithmic bias and explore the responsible use of AI technologies in real-world scenarios. Networking Break Refreshments and an opportunity to meet fellow participants, speakers and industry professionals. Cyber Escape Room Delivered by Stellar Omada’s Stellar Elevate programme, this immersive team-based activity places participants in realistic cyber threat scenarios where they must identify vulnerabilities, analyse risks and respond to evolving digital challenges. Wrap-up Discussion Reflect on key learning points from the day and discover routes into further study and careers in computing, cyber security and digital technologies. Who is it for? This event is for individuals who are female or identify as female, including: S5 and S6 school pupils interested in technology, artificial intelligence and cyber security. College students studying at SCQF Levels 6-8. Those considering further study or a career in technology.
