Scotland’s leading inclusive dance company, Indepen-dance, presents Gathered Together 2026 from Wednesday 2 - Saturday 5 September. Over four days, the festival will host performances, workshops and presentations from some of the world’s leading inclusive dance organisations. Exhibition Flannery O’kafka (Scotland) - Same Dance, Different Song Tramway's Upper Foyer, 3 - 5 September Free and accessible during Tramways opening hours Commissioned by the National Galleries of Scotland to address that ‘disabled people in our community are missing’ from the Portrait Gallery’s photography collection, disabled artist Flannery O’kafka spent time making collaborative images with Indepen-dance. More than a series of photographs, Same Dance, Different Song is a celebration of visibility, identity and the power of authentic representation. It invites us to consider whose stories are preserved in our national collections and whose stories are still waiting to be seen.
