About This Event

Formed in Glasgow in 2008 by frontman Alan Nimmo, King King have firmly established themselves as royalty on the British blues-rock scene. Known for their infectious camaraderie, superb musicianship, and Nimmo’s trademark on-stage kilt, the band has scooped up numerous British Blues Awards, including Best Band and Best Album. Their studio catalogue features acclaimed releases such as Take My Hand, Maverick, and Light Up The Sky.
