Nordic folk and country storytelling, rich vocals, warmth and heart

One of the most distinctive voices emerging from the Nordic roots scene, Norway’s Malin Pettersen blends country, folk, Americana and jazz influences into songs of striking honesty and beauty. A Spellemannpris-winning artist and former frontwoman of country outfit Lucky Lips, Pettersen has earned international acclaim from publications including Paste, Rolling Stone Country, Billboard and Forbes for her expressive songwriting and captivating vocal delivery.

Drawing on American roots traditions while bringing a distinctly Scandinavian perspective, Pettersen’s music feels both timeless and refreshingly original. With a voice that draws listeners in and songs that linger long after the final note, she is a compelling live performer not to be missed.
