About This Event

To celebrate the release of Gruffalo Granny, an appearance by The Gruffalo will occur at Waterstones in Glasgow on 11th September 2026 with no charge.

To celebrate the release of Gruffalo Granny by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, we’re delighted to be welcoming the Gruffalo to the shop.

The Gruffalo is coming to Waterstones Braehead!

Come and meet the Gruffalo at either 11am or 4pm and he might just read you a story!

After each meet and greet session, one of our lovely booksellers will be reading The Gruffalo's Granny and The Gruffalo and we'll have a arts and crafts table set up too.

Tickets are free so book your space before it's too late!
