Spanning three decades, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between musician Frank Shepard and his two lifelong friends - writer Mary, and lyricist and playwright Charley - the production is told in reverse chronological order, starting in 1977, and winding back to the beginning of their friendship in 1957. This uniquely intimate production of Merrily We Roll Along features an emotionally-stirring book by George Furth and a lush score including Sondheim favourites such as Not A Day Goes By, Franklin Shepard Inc. and Opening Doors.
