East Kilbride musician Michael Timmons performs at The Doublet accompanied by Jill Lorean. Michael Timmons is an East Kilbride musician creating intimate, atmospheric songs that pair delicate textures with emotionally charged lyrics. Michael toured around the UK and Europe. His music has earned praise from The Skinny ("exceptional songwriting"), BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq ("a man of some lovely words in song". Jill Lorean is Glasgow-based songwriter Jill O'Sullivan (Sparrow And The Workshop) in collaboration with musician and producer Andy Monaghan (Frightened Rabbit) and drummer Peter Kelly. Jill muses on the profound, the mundane, the universe, impending doom and everything in-between over frenetic, hypnotic drum beats and playful, subversive bass and guitar lines. The Doublet provides an intimate venue for a lovely evening of music.
