Women Only One Day Navigation Course

This friendly and supportive Women Only Bronze NNAS course is designed to build confidence and practical navigation skills in a relaxed environment.

Ideal for DofE Leaders, volunteers, hill walkers, and beginners, you'll learn how to read maps, simple functions of a compass to check direction, understand grid references, plan routes, and navigate with confidence outdoors.

The course combines elements of indoor learning with practical outdoor exercises, giving you plenty of opportunities to develop and apply your skills. No previous experience is required.

Sample itinerary: Welcome and introduction, map reading, route planning, compass skills, outdoor navigation exercises, navigation challenges, and course review.

This course provides a welcoming space for women to gain confidence, develop new skills, and challenge outdated stereotypes about who can take the lead with a map and compass.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
