On 2 January 2027, at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, audiences can anticipate a deeply moving performance of Handel’s Messiah under the baton of renowned conductor Peter Whelan. The star-studded cast includes soprano Rachel Redmond, mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston, tenor Anthony Gregory, and bass-baritone Ashley Riches. The RSNO Chorus, directed by Stephen Doughty, will enhance this musical masterpiece with their powerful voices, supported by the skilled British Sign Language interpreter Paul Whittaker. This performance promises to be a memorable journey through some of Handel’s most beloved compositions, including "Ev'ry Valley," "For Unto Us a Child Is Born," and the iconic "Hallelujah Chorus."
