About This Event

The RSNO 2026/27 Season Finale, taking place on May 22, 2027, at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, will feature Mahler's Third Symphony conducted by Thomas Søndergård. Mezzo-soprano Beth Taylor will join the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), with contributions from the RSNO Chorus, which includes members of the Youth Chorus and BSL performer Paul Whittaker. This performance promises to create a powerful and emotive experience, as Mahler's Symphony explores his profound vision of love through music. With Music Director Thomas Sondergard, mezzo-soprano Beth Taylor, members of the RSNO and RSNO Youth Choruses and a supersized orchestra, it’s an unforgettable way to end our Concert Season. Subscriptions - Restoration Fund Information For customers buying a seasonal subscription, classical concerts in the 2026:27 Season will carry a restoration fund of 75 pence per ticket. For any additional concerts during 2026:27, whether bought in a separate transaction or along with a season subscription, the standard £1.50 restoration fund per ticket will apply.
