About This Event

Sangs an’ Clatter: Before the Sun Rises will take place at The Boardwalk in Glasgow on 23 October 2026. The event will feature two storytellers from Türkiye sharing stories of home, with ticket prices ranging from £8.00 to £12.00.

For one night only The Village Storytelling Centre welcomes two storytellers from Türkiye to share stories of home.

The Village Storytelling Centre’s Emerging Voices in Storytelling programme comes to a close once more with three new voices ready to share their stories.

Emerging Voices in Storytelling is The Village Storytelling Centre’s flagship training programme, designed and delivered to support new and inspiring voices that are underrepresented in the world of storytelling. Our 12-week programme, delivered by Artform Development Lead Daniel Serridge, provides an intensive introduction to the artform, supporting emerging artists with the opportunity and space to train, shadow, network and practice this ancient craft in contemporary settings.
