About This Event

The SARG Conference 2026, themed Unseen, Unheard, & Under-represented, will take place at Paisley Campus, University of the West of Scotland, on 2 September 2026 at 10:00. The conference is free to attend and focuses on marginalised communities and topics.

The SARG conference returns in Sept 2026, and turns the spotlight on "Unseen, Unheard, & Under-represented" topics and communities.

Welcome! This year's Scottish Autism Research Group (SARG, https://sar-group.org.uk) conference is on the topic of “Unseen, Unheard, & Under-represented” groups and topics in autism research. This is an in-person event, taking place at the University of the West of Scotland (Paisley campus). The event will be held on Wednesday the 2nd of September 2026 and will run from 10 am to 5pm.

This year's keynote speakers will be announced very soon, but we are already welcoming applications to present talks (15min presentations or 5min flash talks) and posters. We are keen to hear from any research that included Scotland-based participants, or that was conducted by a Scottish or Scotland-based researcher.
