Bartók's Music for Strings, Percussion & Celeste SCHNITTKE Concerto for Piano and Strings BARTÓK Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste DVOŘÁK Serenade for Winds Maxim Emelyanychev conductor/piano Join us for a programme that revels in the brilliance of strings and winds, led by Maxim Emelyanychev in the dual role of conductor and pianist. The evening opens with Schnittke’s Concerto for Piano and Strings, a work of striking contrasts that showcases Maxim’s artistry at the keyboard. At the heart of the programme is Bartók’s Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste, celebrated for its rhythmic vitality and haunting beauty. The concert concludes with Dvořák’s Serenade for Winds, a Romantic gem full of elegance and warmth.
