As well as the amazing sculptures, enjoy outdoor activities, delicious food and coffee stalls. Our face painters will use their talents to add some sparkle to the day! There will also be an opportunity to grab some official Scotties in the City merchandise as well as meet some of the artists who designed the incredible sculptures. Our Farewell Weekend will also give you an opportunity to learn more about Maggie’s and the support available for people facing cancer. We’re really looking forward to bringing the pack to GVVT! It’s an opportunity to share the beautiful sculptures with everyone in the community, along with visitors to Glasgow. You will also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Glasgow’s iconic transport history by exploring their fascinating exhibition of buses and commercial vehicles. Getting here: This event will take place at Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust in Bridgeton. We suggest getting the train to Bridgeton Station taking a short 7 minute walk along to GVVT. Please note there is limited street parking available. Cost: Entry to Scotties in the City Farewell Weekend • £7 per adult (adults and children above 3) • £3 per child • Under 4s go free Book your place: Tickets for the Farewell Weekend are expected to sell out quickly – please book your time slot in advance to avoid disappointment! Morning and afternoon slots are available on both Saturday and Sunday. This is a dog friendly event. One dog per adult. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
